Celestial events are in the Creator’s hand. We’re in the season of celebrating a birth that was prophesied from the beginning of time, announced by angels in a field of shepherds, and marked by the movement of a star. The bright, ball of light signaled to stargazers from afar that the King of Kings had come to earth, and later, stood over the place where the young Child and His mother were staying. God is not removed from the earth and heavens He created—He is here. He is actively, all-knowingly here. The passing of time can’t disprove Him…the modernization of the world can’t replace Him…and the denial of Him will never diminish His love for us. Love is the reason God moves the celestial bodies in a dance of perfection to sustain life on earth. Love is the reason He sent His Son to save us. And love will always move God’s heart to want every human heart to receive the eternal life this celebrated child was born to bring. 

The star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. Matthew 2:9-11
