When we see the U.S. flag, it should not induce a feeling of indifference. It should inspire us to think about the magnitude of the price paid for our freedom, and the magnificent God who gave individuals the strength to afford it. Our flag flies still, against the blue skies of our beautiful country, for the glory our faithful God. Our prayers should be for every person it represents—those who sacrificed their lives, those living free lives, and those hoping to taste the freedom of a new life in our blessed and bountiful United States of America.
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before You. For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)
