Let’s pray one another to the finish line.

Jan 5, 2026

A little over 3 years ago, I was struggling physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I broke down, looked up, and cried out. Father…I don’t want to try and control anything, anymore. I got transparent with myself and with God. My life was mediocre from top to bottom. My joy was forced and infrequent. I’d been stubborn, crippled by pride, and resistant to completely surrendering to God’s will.

As clearly as I’ve ever heard His voice, the words emerged: “I’ve given you a gift. Learn to use it.” He was talking about the Holy Spirit. I gave my life to Christ when I was thirteen, but until I finally got honest with myself, a line drawing of my walk looked more zig-zagged than the straight, steady path of God’s purpose.

My story is living proof that God mercifully works all things together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. He is calling each one of us to a higher purpose and greater good than we can imagine. Let’s pray one another to the finish line—surrendering to God is a race everyone wins.

None of those who have faith in God will ever be disgraced for trusting him…Show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk. (Psalm 25:3&4)
