We need God to be first in our life, and we need the people He brings into our life to hold a close second. His heart for all of us is love, and it flows through fellowship. Being together and being there for one other is monumental if we’re going to stay the course of a godly life. Discouragement and weariness come for all of us and it takes effort from all of us to hold each other steady. Love in deed is deliberate, compassionate, and caring. It acts selflessly and gives generously. Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins. Remind each other of God’s goodness, and be thankful. (Ephesians 5:2&4)
Snuggle in with some truth today: God will never leave you; God will never fail you; God will always love you; God will always help you; God collects your tears, counts the hairs on your head, and covers you beneath the shadow of His wings. There is refuge, comfort, rest, and hope for you, right where you are…and the comfort we receive, God gifts to those around us.
There was warm fellowship among all the believers. Acts 4:33
