Monday, shmunday. Let’s make it great!

Jan 19, 2026

There might be unwelcome news, difficult discoveries, not-so-lovely conversations, and downright unpleasant moments in the first 24 hours of our work week. But how will we respond? Where will we allow our thoughts to go? We choose: grace and grit or distance and despair. The Spirit of God is here. It’s up to us to invite Him into our day. Monday, shmunday. Let’s make it great!

“Remembering and repeating the truth of God’s Word is the best way to keep our thoughts focused on good things, right things, and true things—all the things that have transformative power in our life. Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8) The Holy Spirit comforts us in our emotional struggles, pours on the healing oil to restore us, and strengthens us in our weakness.” (excerpt from Journaling with the Holy Spirit)
