Excerpt from Journaling with the Holy Spirit:
The eternal impact of our life is in motion every day. We can be tempted to believe the lie that only certain days matter, that going through the motions is insignificant, or that the things we’re doing in this season (which God ordained) have no lasting value. This is when we ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and renew our thinking—because every day in a life lived for God matters. Look for God’s movement in your moments. Look for every chance to touch a life: inside your home, outside your home, in your neighborhood, while you run errands, on your walk, or while you shop. Treat every human interaction as a God-orchestrated opportunity to be a funnel for the unseen blessings of Heaven to pour into this world—through love, giving, kindness, patience, and forgiveness.
(It can even be the simplicity of a smile.)
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4
