At a time in our nation when it’s difficult to see the unfailing love of God through the divisiveness and darkening news cycles, our prayers for a miraculous move of God are paramount. We must join together in this singular outcry. Supporters of the U.S. Constitution saw that the Union of States was divinely ordered. All hope to correct our course rests in God alone.

A.C. Dixon, a pastor in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, wrote, “When we depend on man, we get what man can do; when we depend on prayer, we get what God can do.”

Father, make our country strong in Your hands. May our goals be shaped by Your will; may our resolve be based in Your truth; may our resources be used for Your glory and the good of others. Cover us with grace, shield us with mercy, and motivate us with love. Amen.
