Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights. (James 1:17)

God is faithful to put good things in all of our days. It’s up to us to notice them. Being carefree is a great eye-opener. We can’t have a mind filled with anxious thoughts and unfounded fears and expect to see the little miracles God has for us. He wants us to be sure of Him. He wants us to see every message He sends to let us know He’s here, with us and for us. How precious it is, Lord, to realize that You are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day Your thoughts turn toward me. And when I waken in the morning, You are still thinking of me! (Psalm 139:17-18)

Whatever gifts God puts in our life, may we notice and note them. And at times when discouragement dares to darken our hope, we’ll go over our list of God’s faithfulness and rise far above it.
