May the Lord bless and protect you; may the Lord’s face radiate with joy because of you; may he be gracious to you, show you his favor, and give you his peace. Numbers 6:24-26

There are so many blessings for us in this prayer from Numbers chapter 6. Protection, mercy, favor, and peace. Maybe the most human, heartwarming one is thinking about God’s face beaming with joy because of us. We’ve done nothing to deserve His grace and goodness. We’ve fallen short, turned away, and disappointed. Yet, with a fervor and favor we can’t comprehend, He loves us ecstatically and without condition. May God bless you with quietness of heart. May He protect you with the might of His right hand. May His favor surprise and humble you. May His peace pour over your heart and mind to relieve every doubt, fear, and anxiety. Remember this today–you are the joy of His heart and the light in His smile.
